We are now able to send text messages reminders and updates to our patients but we need your consent

We are now operating with a new computer system, which allows us to send text messages to our patients, to keep them updated and to remind them of their medical appointments. Please email us your full name, date of birth and mobile number on gp.g82205@nhs.net so that we can update our database and send you updates via text messages.

Minor Ailments now seen at Minor Injuries Unit

A Minor Ailments Clinic is available in the Minor Injuries Dept. at Sevenoaks Hospital. Conditions seen include earache, urinary tract infections, sore throats, sinusitis, chesty coughs and colds and skin infections.

No under 5's and no ongoing conditions are seen, just new, acute illnesses.

Open from 8am - 8pm, 7 days a week.

Electronic Prescribing (EPS) Available

Sign up to EPS by asking at reception or at your chosen pharmacy. The benefits are described below. Paper prescriptions will still be available.

If you collect repeat prescriptions you will not have to visit your GP practice just to pick up your paper prescription. Instead, your GP will send the prescription electronically to the place you choose, saving you time.

The prescription is an electronic message so there is no paper prescription to lose.

You will have more choice about where to get your medicines from because they can be collected from a pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop.

If the prescription needs to be cancelled the GP can electronically cancel and issue a new prescription without you having to return to the practice – saving you extra trips.

You may not have to wait as long at the pharmacy as your repeat prescriptions can be made ready before you arrive.
